2025 Program Period

January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025

QUALIFICATIONS

To qualify for the APEX Program, dealerships must:

  • Have been established by 1/01/24.
  • Classify as a full-service parts, service, and sales location; full-service parts and service location; parts warehouse; or Alliance-only store.
  • Not be on Termination.
  • Not be on Cure.
  • Have created and submitted a parts business development plan.
  • Be signed up to receive My Communications.
  • Keep its Daimler parts account current and paid on time each month.
Point Structure

Dealerships earn points by meeting various monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives—and by participating in bonus point opportunities.

Monthly

There are three ways that dealerships can earn points on a monthly basis. Meeting each objective below is worth 50 points per month. Therefore, dealerships can earn up to 150 points per month by meeting all three of its monthly objectives.

  • Total parts purchases (AORA): Divide your dealership’s annual total parts purchases (AORA) objective by 12 to determine your dealership’s monthly objective.
  • Alliance parts purchases (AORA): To determine your dealership’s monthly objective, divide your dealership’s annual Alliance parts purchases (AORA) objective by 12.
  • Reman parts purchases (AORA): Determine your dealership’s monthly objective by dividing the annual Reman parts purchases (AORA) goal by 12.
 
Quarterly

Dealerships earn 100 points per quarter by meeting its total parts purchases (AORA) objective. The quarterly total parts purchases objective is determined by dividing the dealership’s annual total parts purchases (AORA) objective by 4. Dealerships can earn up to 400 points in the program year by meeting all four of its quarterly total parts purchases objectives.

 
Annually

Dealerships earn an additional 450 points by meeting its annual total parts purchases (AORA) objective for 2024.

As bonus point opportunities become available over the course of the program year, they will be added below. Note that each bonus point opportunity varies in its bonus point value.

Peak Performers

The Peak Performers category is new to the 2025 APEX Program! This group represents the Daimler Truck North America and Thomas Built Buses dealerships that have demonstrated exceptional performance within their tiers. Winners in this category are determined by the dealerships with the highest point value in each tier as detailed below. These top-performing dealers will receive a wall plaque to honor their success.

  • Tier 1 DTNA – Top 10 dealers
  • Tier 2 DTNA – Top 10 dealers
  • Tier 3 DTNA – Top 10 dealers
  • TBB – Top 5 dealers
APEX Winners

Even more prestigious are the APEX Winners, which are the top Daimler Truck North America dealerships and the top Thomas Built Buses dealership with the highest point value in each tier as detailed below. These top-performing dealers will be rewarded with an all-expenses-paid luxury trip, a custom award, and the Peak Performers wall plaque to commemorate this achievement. The trip destination and dates will be announced at a later date.

  • Tier 1 DTNA – Top 6 dealers
  • Tier 2 DTNA – Top 5 dealers
  • Tier 3 DTNA – Top 2 dealers
  • Dealer Family* – Top 3 dealer families
  • TBB – Top dealer

*Where “dealer family” is defined as more than one rooftop owned by the same company. Dealer family points are calculated by adding all locations under the same group.

Dealership Standings

Data will be uploaded once every month. Select the “Dashboard” button below to view your dealership’s score. There will be a final upload in January 2026 to reflect December and year-end data. Winners will be announced in early 2026.

The dashboard will be active in Q1 2025.

Quarterly Drawings

New to this program year, DTNA Parts will host a quarterly drawing throughout the program. Each quarter, two winners will win $10,000.00 in credits, which is to be used for furthering DTNA Parts business.** The drawing will take place the first month following the end of each quarter (April 2025, July 2025, October 2025, and January 2026).

Dealerships can earn up to four entries per quarter. Quarterly drawing entries will be determined as follows:

  • All dealers who have earned their quarterly total parts purchases (AORA) objective for the given quarter will receive one drawing entry.
  • Dealers in the top 20% of Alliance parts purchases (AORA) achievement at the end of each quarter will receive one drawing entry.
    • Only dealers who have achieved 100% or more of their Alliance parts purchases (AORA) at the conclusion of each quarter qualify for an entry.***
  • Dealers in the top 20% of Reman parts purchases (AORA) achievement at the end of each quarter will receive one drawing entry.
    • Only dealers who have achieved 100% or more of their Reman parts purchases (AORA) at the conclusion of each quarter qualify for an entry.***
  • Dealers in the top 20% of total bonus points earned within the given quarter will receive one drawing entry.

**Credit requests must be submitted through your Dealer Parts Manager (DPM) and approved by DTNA Parts.
***If there are dealers within the top 20% that have not reached their target for that quarter, they will not qualify for a drawing entry.

We divide your dealership’s annual AORA objective by 12. Although we know that your dealership’s sales will not be equally divided by 12 and that there is seasonality to your dealerhip’s business, this is the most equitable way to determine a monthly objective for all participating dealers.

Yes. There are a series of ways to earn points throughout the course of the program, and winners are based on overall points accumulated at the end of the program period.

Your dealership must have been established by 1/01/24 to be eligible for the 2025 APEX Program period. If your dealership has a new dealer code and had a previous dealer code prior to 1/01/24, please email info@apex-dtnaparts.com for assistance.

In the event of a tie, winners will be determined by compliance of the following AORA objectives:

  • OPS

  • SSI accuracy
  • Delivery trucks

Daimler Truck North America (“DTNA”) reserves the right to audit, amend, cancel, or revoke the program if DTNA judges any future circumstances to warrant such a decision. DTNA will be the final authority with respect to interpretation of the program rules or to any area of controversy not specifically covered in the rules, including final review or program eligibility. DTNA reserves the right to substitute a Prize for one of equal or greater value.

Release and hold harmless: By participating in this promotion, Dealership and respective winners hereby agrees to release and hold harmless Daimler Truck North America, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and those entities associated with the development, distribution, and implementation of this promotion, and each of their directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents, and representatives from any damage, injury, expense, cost, death, loss, claim, action, demand, or other liability that may arise in connection with the promotion, whether caused by negligence on the part of DTNA or not, including all claims or threatened claims relating to (a) participation in the promotion;(b) acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize; (c) participation in any promotion or prize-related activity; (d) technical failures of any kind; or (e) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the promotion.

To the extent required, Form 1099-MISC may be issued for certain recipients who received a prize/award if the annual aggregate is at least $600 or more. Winners must complete and submit a W-9 form to receive any Prize. The recipient should consult his/her tax advisor for the proper tax treatment of this income on his/her tax return.
